About Me
I usually find it difficult to describe myself as I have so many interests. Most of my interests connect me to the arts in some form. I am interested in and involved with music, dance, drawing, painting, calligraphy, and, last but certainly not least, photography. I cannot imagine my life without the arts. It’s how I breathe and move throughout my days of living as a human being on this planet.
When I was in my mid-thirties, the fashion world defined me, as I worked at a fine ladies’ clothing boutique and also worked as a wardrobe stylist/consultant. During that time, I wrote a fashion blog and published a monthly newspaper article promoting local clothing and beauty businesses.
As I entered my forties, I decided to step out of my comfort zone in fashion and take a job at a retailer specializing in outdoor clothing and equipment. This was a great experience that introduced me to more people who didn’t necessarily care about fashion. Although I did lose a bit of my identity as a fashionista, I suppose that was my intention at the time. I wanted to broaden my horizons, and the only way to do that was to try new things I wasn’t necessarily confident in.
In my late forties, I decided to go to college and pursue an associate’s degree in Digital Graphic Design at Eastern Maine Community College. Reaching that goal in April of 2025 pushed me toward my next goal: earning my bachelor’s degree in Visual Graphic Design at Husson University, which is where I am now.
Thank you for your interest in me. I hope you enjoy some of the photography I publish on this site!
